They own the final guaranteed playoff spot in the Western Conference, 2.5 games clear of the Suns. Against Dallas, Minnesota trailed just once in the game at 11-10 before scoring the next seven points and led the rest of the way. The Timberwolves were up 40-25 after the opening quarter, by 12 at the half and by eight after three quarters en route to the win. 76ers vs. Timberwolves Pick

76ers vs. Timberwolves Spread Pick

  • Timberwolves -8 (4 units)

Philadelphia is playing the second game of a back-to-back and play their third game in four nights coming out of the All-Star break. Embiid sat out Saturday night so watch to see if that carries over here or if the 76ers were practicing load management. The 76ers are going to be dealing with fatigue after flying in after Saturday’s contest while Minnesota was at home in their own beds with the night off. Minnesota is missing Gobert here but they boast a deep rotation led by Edwards and Randle. The Timberwolves are 20-10 at home on the year and they have too much firepower for the 76ers in this contest.

76ers vs. Timberwolves Over/Under Pick

  • Under 236.5 (4 units)

Philadelphia entered Saturday night having seen the under post a 28-27 mark in their 55 games on the season. The 76ers are 14th in the league in scoring offense, 13th in offensive efficiency and 19th in tempo with an average of 98.8 possessions per game. Minnesota has seen the under hit in 29 of their first 57 games on the season. The Timberwolves enter this game 4th in scoring offense, 6th in offensive efficiency and 10th in tempo with an average of 100.9 possessions per contest this season. With the 76ers running on fumes, Minnesota doesn’t need as much offensive firepower to win, keeping this game under the total.
