Spurs Seeking to Tame Thunder Again

Spurs vs. Thunder Pick

Spurs vs. Thunder Spread Pick

  • Spurs +6 (4 units)

Oklahoma City owns the leagueโ€™s top mark but the Spurs have had their number this season. San Antonio has won all three meetings, including knocking Oklahoma City out of the NBA Cup when the teams collided last month. The Spurs are minus Vassell but they still have the majority of their core on the floor for this one. San Antonio has been solid on the glass this season and they are above average on the defensive end of the floor. If there is a team that can be kryptonite to Oklahoma City, itโ€™s San Antonio. Seeing how the Spurs have already beaten the Thunder in Oklahoma City this year, take the points and the visitors behind Wembanyama.

Spurs vs. Thunder Over/Under Pick

  • Under 229 (4 units)

San Antonio has seen the under post a 22-18 mark in their 40 games on the year entering Monday night. The Spurs are 9th in the league in scoring offense, 8th in offensive efficiency and 13th in tempo with an average of 100.3 possessions a night. Oklahoma City has gone over the number in 21 of their 40 games this season entering this game. The Thunder is 2nd in scoring offense, 5th in offensive efficiency and 15th in adjusted tempo with 100.1 possessions per contest. Five of the last seven meetings, including two of three this season, have fallen short of the number. With two very good defensive teams, look for this one to fall short of the mark.
