San Jose Sharks vs. Vegas Golden Knights Picks and Prediction for Saturday, November 29, 2025
San Jose Sharks (11-10-3) vs. Vegas Golden Knights (10-5-8)
The San Jose Sharks head to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV, on Saturday night to face off against the Vegas Golden Knights in the Pacific Division showdown with the puck drop at 10:00 PM ET, so we’ve prepared the Sharks vs. Golden Knights prediction to get you covered.
San Jose meets Vegas for the second time this season. Back in the opening week, the Golden Knights outlasted the Sharks 4-3 in overtime as -220 road favorites. Now, Vegas is aiming for its ninth straight victory over San Jose.
Let’s look closer at this Sharks vs. Golden Knights prediction, one of our NHL picks for Saturday’s slate. Vegas is a firm fave to come out on top once more. Both teams took the ice on Friday, and Friday’s games have been excluded from this preview.

The Sharks’ shaky form continues
The San Jose Sharks hosted the Vancouver Canucks on Friday afternoon, looking to bounce back from a heavy 6-0 defeat at the mighty Colorado Avalanche. It was their fourth loss in seven games, and the Sharks were fifth in the Pacific Division on Friday morning.
Last Wednesday, the Sharks failed to cope with the Avs, who took 42 shots toward San Jose’s net. Yaroslav Askarov gave up four goals on 19 shots before being pulled, while Alex Nedeljkovic yielded two goals on 23 shots in relief.
Askarov was confirmed for Friday’s clash against Vancouver, so we should see Nedeljkovic in the crease on Saturday. Nedeljkovic is 3-4-2 with a 3.02 GAA and a .902 save percentage this season. The Sharks allow 3.21 goals per game (tied for 21st in the NHL) and score 2.79 goals in return.
The Golden Knights hope to improve
The Vegas Golden Knights hosted the Montreal Canadiens on Friday afternoon, looking to snap their three-game skid. During that stretch, the Golden Knights have lost against the Anaheim Ducks 4-3 in overtime, the Utah Mammoth 5-1, and the Ottawa Senators 4-3 in a shootout. Vegas has only won three of its previous 11 games overall.
Last Wednesday, the Golden Knights outshot the Senators 35-23 and erased a 3-1 deficit, but they couldn’t find a way to earn two points. Vegas failed to score in a shootout. Akira Schmid posted 20 saves in regulation and stopped two of three Ottawa’s shots in a shootout.
Schmid was expected to guard the cage against Montreal on Friday, while rookie Carl Lindbom was projected to get the starting call on Saturday. Lindbom is 0-4-2 with a 3.16 GAA and a .872 save percentage this season. Vegas allows 2.91 goals per game (14th) and scores 3.09 goals in return (tied for 13th).
Sharks vs. Golden Knights Pick
Spread Pick for Sharks vs. Golden Knights
- Vegas Golden Knights -1.5 (5 units)
Carl Lindbom will eventually have to earn his first NHL victory. He’s allowed three goals in each of his previous three starts, so I’m going to lean on the Golden Knights’ offense to make the difference. Vegas certainly has weapons to outscore San Jose at home.
Mark Stone returned from an injury last Wednesday and scored a power-play goal against Ottawa. He’s amassed a staggering 14 points (G3, A11) across just seven games this season. Jack Eichel (G11, A20) continues to play at a high level, and the Sharks will have a tall task to slow the Golden Knights down.
Over/Under Pick for Sharks vs. Golden Knights
- Over 6.0 (5 units)
Karl Lindbom doesn’t breed confidence. As I said, I lean on the Golden Knights’ offense in this game. Mark Stone is back, and Vegas’ power-play execution is one of the best in the NHL. San Jose has allowed the fifth-most power-play opportunities this season (80), and the Sharks rank 18th in penalty killing (80.0%).
Alex Nedeljkovic has allowed eight goals over his last three appearances (two starts). He gave up four goals on 31 shots in that 4-3 defeat at Vegas in October. The Sharks certainly have weapons to hurt Lindbom and the Golden Knights, so I’m going with the over. Three of the previous four encounters between San Jose and Vegas have gone over the total.
