Jazz vs. Lakers Moneyline Pick

  • Lakers (4 units)

Utah has been solid offensively this season but they have their share of issues on the defensive end of the floor. The Jazz are just 1-5 on the road this year and have been outscored by 15.9 ppg (101.3 ppg for, 117.2 ppg against) in those games. That is a massive drop in offensive production, considering they have averaged 134 ppg at home this year. Los Angeles is a solid team and they are nearing the return of James to the mix as he is nearing his return from sciatica. The Lakers have Doncic leading the way and they take advantage of a leaky Jazz defense to come up with the home win here.

Jazz vs. Lakers Over/Under Pick

  • Over (4 units)

Utah has seen the over post a 7-6 mark in their 13 games on the year. The Jazz stand 12th in scoring offense, 20th in offensive efficiency and 12th in terms of pace as they average 101 possessions per game on the year. Los Angeles enters this game having seen the over post a 9-5 mark on the year. Los Angeles is 19th in the league in scoring offense, 15th in offensive efficiency and 21st in terms of tempo by averaging 99.5 possessions per contest. Eight of the last 10 meetings have wound up over the total, including the last two. Given Utah’s defensive issues, look for this game to wind up over the number.
