On Sunday, the Cleveland Browns will take on the Baltimore Ravens in an AFC North clash at M&T Bank Stadium, and we have you ready to go with our Browns vs. Ravens prediction. Kickoff from Baltimore is at 1:00 p.m. ET.

The Ravens are 11.5-point spread favorites, and the game total is 44.5 points scored.

Cleveland and Baltimore split their two matchups last season. The Browns won 29-24 at home as seven-point dogs on October 27, and the Ravens got payback on January 4, winning 34-10 as 20-point spread favorites. The Ravens are 6-4 both straight-up and against the spread in the last ten meetings between these division rivals. The over/under was split 5-5 in those games. Cleveland lost a winnable game in Week 1

Cleveland (0-1 SU, 1-0 ATS, and 0-1 O/U) lost 17-16 at home to Cincinnati in Week 1. The Browns were 3-0 in preseason action and went 3-14 last season.

Cleveland gave Cincy all it could handle last weekend, holding the Bengals to 141 total yards, including just seven yards after halftime. The Browns dominated the time of possession, holding the football for nearly 36 minutes, but two late turnovers and two missed kicks in the second half determined their fate.

Joe Flacco also returns to Baltimore as the Browns' starting quarterback. He suffered a hip injury in 2018 with the Ravens and a young rookie named Lamar Jackson took over and never looked back. Since then, the 40-year-old Flacco played for six teams including the Browns (twice).

“Can’t be minus-2 (on turnovers) versus a good football team. That’s the story of this football game,” Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said. “We obviously missed a field goal, missed an extra point. Those are points, and in these types of games, you have to come away with points.” “I felt like we did a lot of good things, but we also did a lot of things that get you beat. You know, we just kind of felt we kind of played like an inexperienced team a little bit today," Cleveland QB Joe Flacco (31-for-45 passing for 290 yards with one TD and two INTs) added.

Ravens fumbled away a primetime win last week

Baltimore (0-1 SU, 0-1 ATS, and 1-0 O/U) lost 41-40 at Buffalo last Sunday night. The Ravens went 3-0 in the preseason and 12-5 last season.

Baltimore collapsed late on the road last week, blowing a 15-point fourth-quarter lead. The Ravens were rolling offensively for most of the game, as RB Derrick Henry gashed the Bills' defense for 169 yards and two scores, and QB Lamar Jackson added three touchdowns of his own. However, Henry's late fumble gave the home team new life, spurring a 16-point comeback. The Ravens became the first team in NFL history to lose when scoring 40-plus points and rushing for 235 or more yards. Defensively, they were sliced and diced in the air by Josh Allen and the Bills in one of the greatest collapses in team history.

“I told my teammates after the game, put the loss on me. I own it like a man,” Henry said. “Got lackadaisical and they made a play. ... If I take care of the ball, I feel like it would be a different situation.”

“You just got to finish the game,” Jackson added. “It’s not over until there is zero, zero, zero on the clock. And we found that out tonight.”

Browns vs. Ravens Pick

Spread Pick for Browns vs. Ravens

  • Ravens -11.5 (4 Units)

The Ravens looked as impressive as any NFL team last week before their fourth-quarter collapse, a performance that should have put the league on notice. Instead, the game will serve as motivation to finish the job, no matter the score. That mentality should benefit Ravens bettors on Sunday, as the home team will have to play well for four quarters to cover this large spread. Baltimore's defense will be ready to make a statement, and I believe they will. Cleveland's offense gave away their Week 1 game with costly turnovers and missed kicks, leaving little optimism that they can keep pace with Baltimore's explosive attack.

Baltimore should coast to a win and cover on Sunday in its home opener, quickly putting last week's stunning loss in the rearview mirror.

Over/Under Pick for Browns vs. Ravens

  • Over 44.5 (4 Units)

Baltimore's offense dominated Cleveland's defense in this divisional rivalry last year, scoring a combined 58 points in the two meetings. This is a poor spot for the Browns, who are forced to face a Ravens offense that fired on all cylinders last week, but now is extra motivated to play even harder than usual after blowing a big lead. As for the Browns, there wasn't a lot to like about last week's showing, but the Ravens' defense allowed the second-most EPA per dropback against Buffalo. Flacco may not be elite, but with improved game management, the Browns' offense can be competent.
