Las Vegas Looking to Snap Seven-Game Slide

Las Vegas earned a backdoor cover against the Broncos at home but still suffered a seventh straight loss last week. The Raiders dropped to 2-11 on the year and are in the basement of the AFC West. They have been eliminated from playoff contention. Against Denver, Las Vegas was even at seven after the opening quarter but gave up the next 17 points to trail 24-7 with 3:56 remaining. The Raiders scored 10 straight points but ran out of time to wind up with the loss. Las Vegas lost the total offense battle 356-229, gave up 27 first downs while picking up 16, saw Denver control the clock by a 39:03 to 20:57 margin and allowed a punt return for a score in the game. Neither team turned the ball over in the contest.

Eagles Hoping to Get Back in Win Column

Philadelphia suffered a third straight loss as they fell in overtime in a turnover-filled contest on the road against the Chargers on Monday night. The Eagles fell to 8-5 on the year, though they still lead the NFC East and hold the third seed in the NFC playoff picture. Against the Chargers, the Eagles trailed 7-3 after one quarter, 10-6 at the half and 13-9 after three quarters. Philadelphia rallied to lead by three twice in the fourth quarter before giving up a game-tying field goal with eight seconds left in regulation. The Eagles gave up a go-ahead field goal in overtime and drove to the Chargers’ 17-yard line on the ensuing drive only to throw an interception to end the game. Philadelphia owned a 365-275 advantage in total offense and held a 19-16 edge in first downs in the game. On the flip side, the Eagles lost time of possession by a 38:05 to 29:26 margin and turned the ball over five times while forcing three turnovers in the contest.

He is second on the team on the ground with 88 carries for 337 yards and eight scores. Saquon Barkley leads the team on the ground with 218 carries for 862 yards and five scores. Tank Bigsby (19 carries, 168 yards), AJ Dillon (12 carries, 60 yards) and Will Shipley (11 carries, 45 yards) are also in the mix offensively this season for the Eagles. Raiders vs. Eagles Pick

Spread Pick for Raiders vs. Eagles

  • Eagles -11.5 (4 units)

Philadelphia has dropped three straight games but if there was ever a time that they were going to get right, this is it. They’re playing at home against a Raiders team that doesn’t do a whole lot offensively and is mediocre on the defensive side of the ball. Las Vegas has dropped seven straight entering this contest and boasts the league’s worst scoring attack. It won't get much better with Pickett at quarterback. Throw in chilly temperatures (game time temperature is expected to be around 30 with winds from the northwest at 17 mph, dropping into the mid-20s as the game goes on) and things look bleaker for the visitors. Take Philadelphia to win this one comfortably.

Over/Under Pick for Raiders vs. Eagles

  • Under 38.5 (4 units)

Las Vegas has seen the under go 7-6 in their 13 games on the season. The Raiders have scored 20 points or less in eight of their last nine games. The offensive line has been the main issue and hasn't allowed Jeanty many holes in the running attack. They haven’t scored more than 17 points in any of their last five contests. Philadelphia has stayed under the number in eight of their 13 games in relation to the total this season. The Eagles have stayed under the number in four of their six games at home on the year and each of their last five overall. Expecting more than 14 points from the Raiders is a foolish proposition and the Eagles have sputtered offensively. Take the under as a result.
