New England Patriots vs Cincinnati Bengals Picks
Patriots vs Bengals Spread Pick
- New England Patriots -7 (5 units)
The line is far too generous towards the Bengals in this game. Cincinnati is a mess at the moment and it all starts on defense. The defensive side of the ball has been leaking points left and right this year and the Steelers exposed them once again in last week’s loss. Drake Maye is one of the top quarterbacks in the league and with a newly improved Stefon Diggs, the offense should be on fire especially with a two-headed backfield of TreVeyon Henderson and Rhamondre Stevenson. Joe Flacco’s offense has looked pretty solid, but they will be missing the most dynamic wide receiver in the league. Ja’Marr Chase is suspended for this game due to spitting on a player in last week’s loss. The offense will not be nearly as productive and the Patriots' defense should force a turnover or two, securing another win. New England also loves playing on the road as they are 5-0 against the spread in these situations.
Take New England to cover.
Patriots vs Bengals Over/Under Pick
- Over 51 (5 units)
The Bengals continue to have the worst defense in the league. They cannot stop anyone’s offense from moving the ball down the field in chunk plays. Cincinnati is allowing the most points per age and they have the worst rush defense and second-worst pass defense. The Patriots offense has been on fire and with them averaging the seventh-most points, they should feast on offense. The Bengals offense is scoring well, too. Joe Flacco has shown that the team can score as well. Tee Higgins will be needed for a big game, but this has a high scoring game written all over it. The over is 5-0 when Cincinnati has played at home. The over is 3-2 when New England has played on the road, too.
