Titans Seek Second Win of Season
The Tennessee Titans are eying just their second win of the season. Tennessee has not won since October 5th in a narrow 22-21 triumph against the Cardinals. The biggest issue has been the weak offense. They were dealt a 30-24 home loss by the Seahawks two weeks ago and were smashed 25-3 at home by the Jaguars last week. The Titans were marked as six-point dogs in that one. The Titans have covered the spread in three of their past five games.
Cam Ward is having a mediocre rookie season. The 2025 #1 pick has reached 220 passing yards in six games. Ward has issued 2351 passing yards and a 7:6 TD to INT ratio. He has added 123 rushing yards. Tony Pollard has been decent. The 28-year-old running back has gained 50 or more yards on six occasions this season. Pollard contributed with 60 yards last week and has netted 582 rushing yards on the year.

The receiving core is a weakness. Chig Okonkwo had 29 yards last week and is up to 406 receiving yards. Eric Atomanor has yielded 56 or fewer yards in each game. The 22-year-old rookie has managed 339 receiving yards. The Tennessee offense posted 188 yards last week. They are averaging 242 yards per game.
The Titan's defense is not quite as bad as the offense. Last week, they kept the Jacksonville offense to only 272 yards. This improves their season average to 345 yards per game. They have conceded 25 or more points in five of their past six games. Cedric Gray leads the squad with 110 tackles. CB Jaylen Amour-Davis is questionable. The pass defense is 20th, while the rush defense is 22nd.
Tennessee is averaging 14.2 points on the year, marking them 32nd. The Titans are squandering an average of 27.3 points, pegging them 29th.
Key injuries for Titans:
- CB Jalyn Armour-Davis (Achilles) is questionable.
- WR Calvin Ridley (fibula) was placed on the IR.
- C Lloyd Cushenberry III (foot) is questionable.
Browns Target Third Home Win of Season
The Cleveland Browns are home again this week. They are glad to see an easier opponent after a tough matchup last week. Cleveland has managed one win in its past five games. They were competitive in a 23-16 home loss against the Ravens in week 11. They answered with a road win against the Raiders two weeks ago. Next, the Browns were charged with a 26-8 home loss by the 49ers last week. The Browns were tabbed as 5.5-point dogs. The Browns have covered the spread in two of their past five games.
Shedeur Sanders got the start under center last week and was decent, connecting on 16 of 25 passes with 149 passing yards and one touchdown. The rookie QB has recorded 405 passing yards and a 2:2 TD to INT ratio. Cleveland is giving him a chance as he is going to be under center again. Dillon Gabriel is his backup. Gabriel has 937 passing yards with seven TDs against two picks.
Cleveland will run more than pass. Quinshon Judkins is having an outstanding rookie season. The 22-year-old has reached 59 or more yards in eight games this season. Judkins has reported 758 rushing yards. The receiving group is subpar. Harold Fanning Jr. leads the team with 505 yards. Jerry Jeudy netted 26 yards last week and has contributed with 421 receiving yards. The Cleveland offense only delivered 253 yards last week. This dips their season average to 258 yards per game.
The Browns' defense has been a positive this season and is definitely their top strength. They kept San Francisco to only 252 yards last week. This brings their season average to an average of only 271 yards per game. Carson Schwesinger has been outstanding, making 106 tackles. CB Denzel Ward has a hip injury and is questionable. The pass defense is among the best, ranking third, while the rush defense stands 10th.
Cleveland is posting an average of 16.2 points on the season, ranking them 29th. The Browns are keeping opponents to an average of 22.5 points, marking them 15th in the NFL.
Key injuries for Browns:
- DT Mason Graham (ribs) is questionable. Has 19 tackles.
- TE David Njoku (knee) is questionable. Has 32 catches for 292 yards and 3 TDs.
- LB Carson Schwesinger (ankle) is questionable. Has 49 tackles and two INTs.
Titans vs. Browns Pick
Spread Pick for Titans vs. Browns
- Cleveland Browns -3.5 (5 units)
The Tennessee Titans have managed just one win this season and just lost by 22 points against the Jaguars last week. The Cleveland Browns have displayed some improvement. The Browns managed a big road win two weeks ago, and while they lost to San Francisco last week, the Browns' defense only conceded 252 total yards against a decent offense.
Furthermore, Tennessee has the worst offense in the entire NFL, and the Browns' defense has been superb. Cam Ward and the passing offense are averaging only 165 yards per game and wonβt break out against a stingy Browns pass defense. The Browns are keeping opponents to 169 passing yards per game, ranking third in the NFL. Also, Cleveland will run more than pass. This is ideal for Cleveland against a Titans' rush defense that is pegged 22nd in the NFL. Each of the Titans' past three road defeats has been by 10 or more points.
Over/Under Pick for Titans vs. Browns
- Over 34.5 (5 units)
I expect this one to go over. This is by far the lowest total on the entire board this week. Tennessee wonβt need to score many points to bring this over. They scored 24 points against the Seahawks two weeks ago. The Browns' defense has not been as sharp, giving up 23 or more points in four of their past five games.
In addition, the Cleveland offense has averaged a decent 19 points in its last six games, above its season average of 16.2 points. The Titans' defense has been exposed. They have squandered 25 or more points in five of their past six games. The over is 4-1 in theΒ Browns' past five games against an AFC opponent.
