Ducks vs. Sharks Pick
Ducks vs. Sharks Moneyline Pick
- Ducks -113
This series has been owned by Anaheim of late as the Sharks are in the early stages of their rebuild. Meanwhile, Anaheim turned in their best season since 2018-19 in 2024-25, posting an identical 35-37-10 record. It was a 21-point improvement over the 2023-24 campaign. The Ducks struggled against Seattle in the opener, but they have a good collection of young talent to work with going forward. San Jose got a point in the opener Thursday, but the fact that Nedeljkovic had a pair of massive gaffes late in the game Thursday cost them the other one. Mrazek isnโt great, but he is a veteran netminder who should help the Ducks skate away with the road victory here.
Ducks vs. Sharks Over/Under Pick
- Under 6.5 (-120)
Anaheim stayed under the total in their season-opening contest as they combined with the Kraken to score just four goals Thursday night. The Ducks had an average total of 5.83 goals per game last season, and that number dropped to 5.59 goals per game in their road tilts. Anaheim averaged just 2.34 goals per game as the visiting team. San Jose went over the number in their season opener, combining for seven goals in the loss to Vegas. The Sharks had an average number of 6.32 goals per game on the year in 2024-25, and that number slipped to 6.15 goals per game at home. Until we see the Ducks generate some offensive production on the road, even with mediocre goaltenders, we lean toward the under here.
