Blue Jackets vs. Red Wings Pick

Blue Jackets vs. Red Wings Moneyline Pick and Prediction

  • Blue Jackets +115 (4 units)

Detroit was outplayed by the Islanders in all facets of the game Thursday night and hopes to regroup here. The Red Wings may be atop the Atlantic Division but the fact remains that they have had some issues in their own end of the ice. Columbus has won four of six entering this contest and has posted a 6-5-1 mark on the road this season. Talbot has been good this season between the pipes for the Red Wings but the fact remains that they are inconsistent. The Blue Jackets are tough and they are capable of taking down anyone on a nightly basis. Look for Columbus to build off Thursday’s win as they skate away with the two points here.

Blue Jackets vs. Red Wings Over/Under Pick

  • Under 6.5 (4 units)

Columbus has stayed under the number in 10 of their 21 games, with two pushes, this season entering Friday night. The Blue Jackets have an average of 6.10 goals per game and that number bumps up to 6.33 goals per game on the road this year. Detroit enters this game having seen the over post a 9-8-4 mark in their 21 games this season. The Red Wings have seen an average total of 6.05 goals per game, though that number climbs to an average of 6.58 goals per game in their 12 home games on the year. This game likely gets to six goals, but it’s hard to bank on a seventh with these teams. Lean to the under in this contest.
