Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Seattle Kraken Picks and Prediction for Tuesday, November 11, 2025
Use Code WWWC Columbus Blue Jackets (7-7-0) vs. Seattle Kraken (7-4-4)
The 2025-26 NHL betting action continues Tuesday, November 11, with the nine-game card, including the cross-conference showdown at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA, so we’ve got the Blue Jackets vs. Kraken prediction to get you covered.
The Blue Jackets meet the Kraken for the first time this season. They split a two-game set in 2024-25, with each team emerging victorious on the home ice. Seattle beat Columbus 5-2, and the Blue Jackets responded with a 6-2 victory.
Let’s take a closer look at this Blue Jackets vs. Kraken prediction, one of our NHL picks for Tuesday night. The puck drop is set at 10:00 PM ET, and the Kraken open as slight -120 moneyline favorites with a total of 6.5 goals.
The Blue Jackets play without rest
Monday’s games have been excluded from the analysis, and the 7-7-0 Columbus Blue Jackets visited the Edmonton Oilers on Monday night, looking to stop their three-game slide. In their previous three outings, the Blue Jackets have lost at the New York Islanders 3-2, the Calgary Flames 5-1, and the Vancouver Canucks 4-3.

Last Saturday, the Blue Jackets outshot the Canucks 32-25 and blew a 2-1 lead. Kirill Marchenko led the way for Columbus with two goals and an assist, while Dmitri Voronkov added two assists and a goal. Marchenko now has 16 points on his season tally (G8, A8), and Voronkov has amassed six goals and seven dishes.
Elvis Merzlikins gave up four goals on 25 shots in Vancouver, falling to 4-3-0 on the season. He holds a 3.14 GAA and a .909 save percentage, while Jet Greaves is 3-4-0 with a 2.90 GAA and a .907 save percentage this season. Greaves was projected to start Monday, and Merzlikins should get the nod on Tuesday night.
The Kraken miss their starting goalie
The Seattle Kraken have been inconsistent thus far. They haven’t won or lost three consecutive games, which tells you a lot about the Kraken. Seattle scores just 2.60 goals per game (tied for 28th in the NHL) and allows 2.87 goals in return (10th).
The Kraken are coming off Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at the Dallas Stars. Just 24 hours after a 4-3 overtime victory at the St. Louis Blues, the Kraken laid an egg in Dallas. Seattle took the lead after 3:15 of play in the first period, and it was all we saw from the Kraken’s offense.
Philipp Grubauer guarded the cage against the Blues, while Matt Murray was in the net against the Stars. Seattle cannot count on Joey Daccord (6-2-3; 2.83 GAA; .900 SV%), who’s on the IR with an upper-body injury.
Winger Jared McCann (G3, A1) is on the IR, too. Jaden Schwartz and Jordan Eberle lead the way for the Kraken, notching five goals and six assists each.
Blue Jackets vs. Kraken Pick
Moneyline Pick for Blue Jackets vs. Kraken
- Columbus Blue Jackets (5 units)
Seattle is dead last in the NHL in high-danger scoring chances (39.8%). The Kraken lean on their defense, but without Joey Daccord, Seattle’s D will be properly tested. It’s hard to trust Philipp Grubauer, who’s projected to patrol the crease Tuesday against the Blue Jackets. Grubauer has recorded a 2.49 GAA and an underwhelming .875 save percentage across two starts and one relief appearance this season.
On the other side, the Blue Jackets score 3.07 goals per game (tied for 16th in the NHL) despite a poor 9.4 shooting percentage (tied for 25th). They are 12th in the league in high-danger scoring chances (50.6%).
Columbus will have to deal with fatigue in this game. The Jackets are coming off a tough road clash against the Oilers, but I think they have enough weapons to deal with the Kraken and pull off an upset. Elvis Merzlikins has been solid thus far, and the Jackets are arguably a better offensive team than Seattle.
Over/Under Pick for Blue Jackets vs. Kraken
- Over 6.5 (5 units)
Both teams are struggling to defend with a man down. The Blue Jackets are 28th in the NHL in penalty killing (70.7%), and the Kraken rank 30th in this category (69.2%).
I trust Elvis Merzlikins to play well, but the Jackets’ blueline has been pretty bad so far this season. On the other side, the Kraken’s blueline is doing a solid job, but Philipp Grubauer is a liability.
Hereof, I will take the over at plus money. Three of the previous four encounters between Columbus and Seattle have seen at least seven goals on the scoreboard.
