Dallas Stars vs. Seattle Kraken Picks and Prediction for Wednesday, November 26, 2025
Dallas Stars (13-5-4) vs. Seattle Kraken (11-5-6)
The 2025-26 NHL betting action goes on Wednesday, November 26, with a massive 15-game card, including the Western Conference clash at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA, so here’s the Stars vs. Kraken prediction.
Dallas meets Seattle for the second time this season. The Stars outlasted the Kraken 2-1 as -200 home favorites on November 9, and the game flew under the six-goal line. Now, the Stars are searching for their ninth consecutive victory over the Kraken.
Let’s look closer at this Stars vs. Kraken prediction, one of our NHL picks for Wednesday night. The Stars open as -135 moneyline favorites with a total of 5.5 goals, and the puck drop is set at 10:00 PM ET.

The Stars play without rest
The Dallas Stars visited the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night, and that game has been excluded from the analysis. The Stars were looking to get back on the winning track. They’ve dropped two of their previous three games, sandwiching a 4-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks with a pair of losses against the New York Islanders, 3-2, and the Calgary Flames, 3-2 in a shootout.
Jake Oettinger was confirmed for Tuesday’s clash against Edmonton, which means that Casey DeSmith will guard the cage against Seattle on Wednesday. DeSmith is 4-1-2 with a sharp 2.22 GAA and a .917 save percentage this season. Last Saturday, DeSmith gave up two goals on 33 shots in that shootout defeat against Calgary.
The Stars allow 2.73 goals per game (tied for 7th in the NHL) and score 3.18 goals in return (also tied for 7th). Wingers Mikko Rantanen and Jason Robertson lead the way with 28 points each. The Stars cannot count on defenseman Thomas Harley (G1, A9) and Ilya Lyubushkin (A4).
The Kraken are coming off a heartbreaking loss
The Seattle Kraken just finished a four-game road trip with a 2-1-1 record. After a 4-2 defeat at the Detroit Red Wings and a couple of wins over the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 and the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 in overtime, the Kraken lost at the New York Islanders 1-0 in a shootout.
The Islanders outshot the Kraken 34-19, but Joey Daccord had a big game in the crease. However, the Islanders scored twice in a shootout, and Daccord fell to 7-3-4 on the season. The 29-year-old netminder holds a 2.56 GAA and a .909 save percentage in 2025-26, and he’s expected to make another start when the Stars come to town.
Seattle allows just 2.55 goals per game (2nd in the NHL) and scores 2.59 goals in return (29th). Center Jaden Schwartz leads the charge with eight goals and seven assists, while winger Jordan Eberle has amassed eight goals and six dishes. The Kraken miss wingers Kaapo Kakko (G1) and Jared McCann (G3, A1).
Stars vs. Kraken Pick
Moneyline Pick for Stars vs. Kraken
- Dallas Stars (5 units)
The Stars will have to deal with fatigue, but Mikko Rantanen will be fresh. Rantanen served his one-game suspension on Tuesday night, and he’ll be ready to torture the Kraken.
Seattle’s defense has been outstanding at even strength. But with the man down, the Kraken rank 30th in the NHL (71.0%). The Stars are arguably a better offensive team than Seattle, so I’m going with Dallas.
In their first meeting of the season, the Kraken outshot the Stars 31-25 and blew an early lead. Casey DeSmith posted 30 saves, and I expect another strong performance from the Stars’ backup goalie.
Over/Under Pick for Stars vs. Kraken
- Under 5.5 (5 units)
Casey DeSmith has been sensational so far this month, posting a 1.72 GAA and a .937 save percentage across five starts (3-0-2 record). On the other side, Joey Daccord is 2-2-2 with a 2.40 GAA and a .913 save percentage in November.
We’ll see a couple of in-form goalies, so I’m going with the under. The Stars won’t rush things on the second night of a back-to-back, and Seattle’s offense is not explosive, so I would be surprised by a high-scoring affair. Five of the previous six meetings between these two teams have seen fewer than five goals on the scoreboard.
