Kings vs. Canadiens Pick
Kings vs. Canadiens Moneyline Pick
- Kings +100
The Kings have been excellent on the road this season, posting a 6-1-2 mark as the visiting team compared to a 1-4-2 mark at home. They haven’t been intimidated playing on the road and they get a crack at a Montreal squad that has exceeded expectations to this point of the season. The Canadiens haven’t gotten great goaltending from Montembeault on the year as he has been outplayed by Jakub Dobes. Los Angeles is a veteran squad with plenty of experience and talent. Kopitar has dented the twine in back-to-back games as he gets back into form. Montreal sputters a bit here and that keeps this one under the number.
Kings vs. Canadiens Over/Under Pick
- Under 6.5 (-130)
Los Angeles enters this game having seen the under post an 8-7-1 mark in their 16 games on the year. The Kings have an average total of 5.75 goals per game on the year and that number bumps up slightly to 5.89 goals per game on the road, mainly due to better offensive production as the visiting team. Montreal has seen the over post a 10-3-2 mark on the season. The Canadiens have an average total of 6.87 goals per game with an average of 7.14 goals in their seven home games. We’ve seen the under post a 7-2-1 mark in their last 10 meetings. Montreal has been free-wheeling offensively but the Kings keep them in check somewhat, keeping this game under the total.
