Wild vs. Jets Pick
Wild vs. Jets Moneyline Pick
- Wild +114 (4 units)
Minnesota has been rolling of late with six wins in their last seven games as they have been clicking on both ends of the ice. The Wild has been streaky this season, but they have momentum on their side. In addition, Minnesota gets to face a Winnipeg squad that is without the reigning Hart and Vezina Trophy winner in Hellebuyck. Comrie is a decent backup netminder but trying to rely on him as the number one goaltender for an extended period is a tough ask. The Jets have been inconsistent and it will be difficult given the downgrade in net for the hosts. Take the Wild on the road in this contest.
Wild vs. Jets Over/Under Pick
- Under 6.5 (-138) (4 units)
Minnesota has seen the under post an 11-10-1 mark in their 22 games on the season. On the season, the Wild has an average of 5.77 goals per contest, and that number slides down to 5.44 goals a night in their nine road tilts. Winnipeg has seen the over post a 12-8-0 mark in their 20 games this season. The Jets have an average total of 6.10 goals per game on the yea,r and that number edges up to 6.50 goals per game on home ice. With Wallstedt strong in net for Minnesota and the Jets likely to play more in a defensive shell to help protect Comrie, this game winds up under the total.
