Devils vs. Maple Leafs Pick
Devils vs. Maple Leafs Moneyline Pick
- Maple Leafs -120
New Jersey comes in with four straight victories but missing Markstrom puts stress on Allen to step in as the #1 goaltender for the time being. This is a clash of a pair of teams that are in the top five in the league in goals per game this season, so there is firepower to be had. Toronto has seen Stolarz sputter a bit in the early going and Toronto does miss Woll as the 1B in that goaltending duo. Nylander has been terrific and everyone knows how dangerous Matthews is with the puck on his stick. Toronto has had New Jerseyβs number of late, including winning all three meetings last season. Look for the Maple Leafs to earn the home win here.
Devils vs. Maple Leafs Over/Under Pick
- Over 5.5 (-130)
New Jersey enters this game having seen the over post a 3-2 mark in their five games on the year with an average of 6.80 goals per game. That number see that number climb to 7.33 goals per game on the road this season. The Devils saw an average total of 5.61 goals per game last season and that number bumped slightly to 5.66 goals per game on the road. Toronto has seen the over post a 4-2 mark in their four games on the year. Toronto has had an average of seven goals per game this season in the early going which slides to 6.60 goals per game at home. Last season, Toronto saw an average total of 6.05 goals per game and that number slipped to 5.66 goals per game at Scotiabank Arena. With two high-octane offenses and questionable goaltending right now, take this one to go over the total.
