Florida looks to build off of strong defense showing
The Panthers were led by their offense last season, and they once again stepped up on that end of the ice with a three-goal showing on opening night. Carter Verhaeghe and Mackie Samoskevich scored a goal and two assists in the game, but the rest of the offense stepped up as well.
