Flyers vs. Canadiens Pick
Flyers vs. Canadiens Moneyline Pick
- Flyers +120 (4 units)
Philadelphia has dropped three straight, either in overtime or a shootout, but they have managed to climb in the Metropolitan Division standings. The Flyers have been decent on the road this season, posting a 6-4-2 mark away from the City of Brotherly Love. Montreal has been up and down this season and their goaltending has been subpar. Ranking tied for 27th in goals against per game makes it difficult to sustain success, even with an above-average offensive attack. The Canadiens are a pedestrian 8-8-1 at home on the year compared to a 9-3-3 mark on the road. With the goaltending slumping for Montreal, give the edge to the visitors here.
Flyers vs. Canadiens Over/Under Pick
- Over 5.5 (4 units)
Philadelphia has gone over the number in 15 of their 31 games, with one push, in relation to the total on the year. The Flyers entered Monday night with an average of 5.58 goals per game and that number bumps up to 5.67 goals per game on the road this year in 12 tilts. Montreal comes into this game having seen the over post a 21-8-3 mark in their 32 games on the season. The Canadiens have an average of 6.69 goals per game this season and that number climbs slightly to 6.88 goals per game in their 17 home games on the year entering Monday. We saw nine goals in the first meeting this season, marking the fourth time in the last five meetings that the teams went over the number. Take the over in this contest as well.
