Toronto hopes offense turns season around

Penguins vs Maple Leafs Pick

Money Line Pick For Penguins vs Maple Leafs

  • Penguins (+145) (4 units)

The Maple Leafs look to build off a strong win on the road but the Penguins are having a great season and look to take over this game on the road. The Penguins, who average 3.54 goals per game, should pile on the goals with Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and the rest of the forward unit carrying the puck into the offensive zone while creating open shots with quick passes. The Penguins, who allow only 2.62 goals per game, should limit the Maple Leafs offense with Kris Letang, Erik Karlsson, and the rest of the defensive unit creating turnovers in the defensive zone while limiting shots on the net, allowing goaltender Arturs Silovs to make plenty of big saves. The Penguins should win the game and provide great odds in the process as road Underdogs.

Take the Penguins' money line as road Underdogs.

Over/Under Pick For Penguins vs Maple Leafs

  • Over 6.5 (5 Units)

Both teams have great offenses that look to make this game a high-scoring one from the opening puck drop. The Maple Leafs, who average 3.58 goals per game, should pile on the goals with William Nylander, John Tavares, and the rest of the forward unit carrying the puck into the offensive zone and creating open shots with quick passes. The Penguins, who have scored 16 goals in their last four games, should run up the score against the Maple Leafs, who allow 3.67 goals per game, with Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Bryan Rust, and the rest of the forward unit overwhelming the Maple Leafs defense with speed in all three zones and creating open shots with effective puck movement while Erik Karlsson and Ryan Shea pick apart the Maple Leafs defense from the point. The Over should cover in a high-scoring game with both offenses stepping up.

Take the Over on 6.5 goals.

The Penguins face the Maple Leafs with both teams looking to improve in the Eastern Conference.
