Sharks vs. Islanders Pick

Sharks vs. Islanders Puckline Pick

  • Islanders -1.5 (+120)

San Jose is winless on the year and their goaltending has left plenty to be desired at this stage of the season. After a pair of OT losses to start the season, the Sharks have been outscored 14-4 in their last three games, with each contest decided by at least three goals. While the Islanders have had their own struggles defensively, the fact remains that they have won two straight games. In addition, New York has dominated the Sharks in recent meetings and each of their last six victories in the series has come by multiple goals. Look for the Islanders to take care of business again here as they skate to a third straight win.

Sharks vs. Islanders Over/Under Pick

  • Over 6 (-120)

San Jose has gone over the number in three of their five games this season. The Sharks have seen an average total of 7.60 goals per game to this point of the season and their lone road game of the year saw nine goals on the board. San Jose had an average number of 6.32 goals per game on the year in 2024-25 and that number climbed to 6.49 goals per game on the road. New York has seen the over hit in four of their five games on the year. The Islanders have an average total of seven goals per game and that number is 6.67 goals per game at home on the year. Last season, the Islanders posted an average of 5.84 goals per game and that number climbed to 5.93 goals per game at home. With both teams struggling to keep the puck out of their own net, take the over in this contest.
