In the third period, New Jersey was outshot 13-5 and outscored 1-0 yet hung on for the victory. Jacob Markstrom made 32 saves for the Devils, who were outshot 35-20, in the win. Jake Allen (7-4-0, 2.46 GAA, .908 save percentage) is slated to be between the pipes here for the Devils.
