Canucks vs. Blackhawks Pick

Canucks vs. Blackhawks Moneyline Pick

  • Blackhawks +123

Vancouver is playing the second game of a back-to-back situation here, and that is something that canโ€™t be overlooked. The Canucks were drubbed at home by the same Blues team that Chicago just rocked on the road Wednesday night. Vancouver is going to be battling the fatigue factor here and Lankinen, should he get the start in goal here, is a known commodity to the Blackhawks. Knight has been solid in his three starts this season and the Blackhawks got their offense in gear Wednesday. Playing at home, with a rest advantage, you have to give the upper hand to the hosts here as they earn a third straight win.

Over/Under Pick for Canucks vs. Blackhawks

  • Over 6 (-110)

Vancouver has seen the under post a 1-1-1 mark in their first three games on the year, entering Thursday, seeing an average of 5.67 goals per game. Last season, the Canucks had an average total of 5.90 goals per game and that number climbed to 5.98 goals a night as the visiting team. Chicago has stayed under the total in three of their five games in relation to the total, with an average total of 6.40 goals per game. Last season, the Blackhawks had an average total of 6.29 goals per game and that number jumped to 6.51 goals per game on home ice. Three of the last four meetings have gone over the number and with Chicago showing signs of life offensively, this game ends up over the mark.
