Capitals vs Bruins Pick

Money Line Pick For Capitals vs Bruins

  • Bruins (-115) (4 units)

This will be a great game between two evenly-matched teams. The Capitals look to rebound from two losses in a row but the Bruins are putting together a great season and look to step up on their home ice. The Bruins should pile on the goals with David Pastrnak, Morgan Geekie, and the rest of the forward unit carrying the puck into the offensive zone and creating open shots with quick passes. The Bruins should limit the Capitals offense with Jeremy Swayman building off of two starts where he’s allowed only three goals and blanking the shots on the net, while Nikita Zadorov and Jonathan Aspirot create turnovers in front of him. The Bruins should win the game with a strong performance on their home ice.

Take the Bruins money line as home Favorites.

Over/Under Pick For Capitals vs Bruins

  • Over 5.5 (5 Units)

Both teams have great offenses that look to make this game a high-scoring one from the opening puck drop. The Capitals, who average 3.14 goals per game, should create plenty of scoring chances with Alexander Ovechkin, Dylan Strome, and the rest of the forward unit carrying the puck into the offensive zone and creating open shots with quick passes. The Bruins, who average 3.33 goals per game, should run up the score with David Pastrnak, Morgan Geekie, and the rest of the forward unit establishing a strong offensive zone presence and creating open shots with effective puck movement as Charlie McAvoy picks apart the Capitals defense from the point. The Over should cover in a high-scoring game with both offenses stepping up.

Take the Over on 6.5 goals.

The Capitals face the Bruins with both teams fighting for a playoff position in the Eastern Conference.
