UTSA vs Temple Pick
UTSA vs Temple Spread Pick
- UTSA -6 (5 units)
UTSA and Temple are both coming off of their bye weeks. The teams should be fresh and ready to go, but momentum is on the side of just one team. Temple has been blown out in back-to-back games to Oklahoma and Georgia Tech. They cannot throw the ball as they rank 107th in passing offense. They rely heavily on the rushing game, but the Roadrunners are the 40th-ranked rush defense. Expect UTSA to defend the rush really well in this game.
UTSA has won back-to-back games with a huge victory over Colorado State where they led for a majority of the game. The Roadrunners have looked much better over their past two wins, and that is thanks to their 31st-ranked rush offense. Temple will struggle defending their rushing attack as they rank 115th in that department. This game will come down to running ball, and UTSA has the better defense and the better running backs.
Take UTSA to cover.
UTSA vs Temple Over/Under Pick
- Under 57 (5 units)
The rushing attacks for both teams will be key in this game. The clock will tick while both teams also do not turn the ball over. The Owls have not thrown an interception this season. Extra possessions will not occur while the team that runs the ball will have the best chance of winning. With the clock ticking and no extra possessions, this will be a low-scoring game. Both defenses are statistically allowing a lot of points, but they are being inflated by the Power-4 schools both of them have faced.
