The two worst teams in the American League will wrap up a four-game series on Sunday. The Orioles took the series opener 3-0 on Thursday. On Friday, the Rangers scored five runs in the top of the ninth inning to come away with a come from behind 8-5 victory. The Orioles have now won three of the five games in the season series heading into Saturday.

*This preview is for Saturday's game, as Sunday's matchup was not yet complete at the time of this preview.*

Rangers score five runs in 9th in a come back victory

The Texas Rangers are 56-98, last in the West division, with the third-worst record in the Major Leagues. On Friday, the Rangers trailed 5-3 entering the ninth inning before scoring five runs in the top of the inning for the comeback. Nathaniel Lowe hit his 16th home run of the season and drove in his 69th and 70th runs in the win. Jose Adolis Garcia also drove in two runs, increasing his team's RBI lead to 85, and stole home in the ninth inning. Garcia has been a breakout star for Texas, despite the losing season. Adolis came into the year with only 23 career-at bats under his belt and is has 30 home runs and 13 stolen bases this year.

The Rangers pitching staff is 25th with a 4.81 ERA. Dane Dunning, who is 5-9 with a 4.34 ERA, will start on Sunday. Dunning has had a terrible year on the road, holding a 0-7 record and 6.65 ERA.

Orioles lead the AL is losses

With the loss on Friday, the Baltimore Orioles fell to an MLB-worst 49-104. The bullpen failing the Orioles is nothing new. Baltimore is dead-last in MLB with a 5.65 bullpen ERA, allowing 99 home runs, 11 more than any other team.

Even with over 100 losses, there have been some bright spots in the Baltimore lineup. Cedric Mullins leads the Orioles with a 6.1 WAR, .368 on-base percentage, 29 home runs, and 30 stolen bases. Ryan Mountcastle leads the power department with 31 home runs and 84 RBI.

Starting for the Orioles on Sunday will be John Means, who is 6-7 with a 3.25 ERA in 24 starts.

Best Bets for this Game

Full-Game Side Bet

Insiders Status:

The Orioles have been terrible this season but will be sending their best pitcher to the mound on Sunday. Means has a 2.35 ERA over his previous five starts, with four of those games coming against teams with a winning record. Texas is not exactly competing for a playoff spot. Opposing Means will be Dane Dunning, and Texas has lost 11 of the 12 road games that he has pitched in. Take the Orioles on Sunday.

Prediction: Baltimore Orioles ML

Full-Game Total Pick

Insiders Status:

John Means has not pitched as well at Camden Yards. He has a 4.55 ERA this season and will be backed up by the worst bullpen in baseball. On the other side, Dane Dunning has been tragic on the road.

More than 57% of Orioles' home games and 55% of the Rangers' road games have gone over the total this season.

I am playing this game to go over the total.

Prediction: Over

First Five Innings Side Pick

Insiders Status:

The Orioles have a substantial advantage on the mound with John Means facing Dane Dunning. If the Orioles lose this game, I think their bullpen will be to blame again. The Rangers bullpen is not great but ranks 18th with a 4.23 ERA this season, while the Orioles are last with a 5.65 ERA. My favorite play here is to take Baltimore in the first five innings and take the bullpens out of the decision.

Prediction: Baltimore Orioles -0.5
