It is a battle of two of the top teams in each of their respective conferences when the Indiana Pacers take on the New Orleans Pelicans. Indiana comes into this game slumping a bit, as they have dropped two of their last three games, including a 106-102 loss to the New York Knicks on Saturday. New Orleans has won their last two games, including a 120-116 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Saturday.
We have an NBA Central Division matchup to consider for Wednesday when the Milwaukee Bucks meet the Detroit Pistons for the third time this season. Milwaukee has won both previous meetings and enters this matchup looking to extend a two-game winning streak. Detroit has lost four of its last five games and suffered a 96-86 home loss to the Utah Jazz on Sunday evening.
Bucks Two Game Winning Streak
The Bucks are rolling right along and has won four of its last five games and sits atop the Central Division with a 7-4 record this season. The one-two punch of Giannis Antetokounpo and Khris Middleton has been devastating at times this season and newly acquired Jrue Holiday and Bobby Portis have been welcome additions on both ends of the floor.

Pistons Fall to Utah
Detroit is having a difficult season and it doesn’t appear that things will be getting better any time soon either. They’ve lost four of their last five games and are 2-8 this season. Jerami Grant was acquired in the offseason to bring the energy and he’s done more than his fair share of that while leading the team in scoring. Mason Plumlee leads the team in caroms while Blake Griffin and Derrick Rose lead the team in assists. Rose is listed as day to day for this tilt.

The Utah Jazz took a 15 point lead into the second quarter and never looked back in their 96-88 away victory over Detroit. Grant led the way with 28 points with four rebounds and assists while Saddiq Bey came off of the bench to score a dozen points. Griffin was held to ten points and Rose was a scratch.
Detroit plays at the twenty-second fastest pace in the NBA and scores an average of 108.8 points while allowing an average of 115.4 points per matchup. The Pistons rank twenty-eighth in true shooting percentage and thirteenth in offensive rebound percentage this season.
