We have a non-conference NBA matchup to consider for Wednesday evening when the Dallas Mavericks meet the Charlotte Hornets for the second time this season. The Mavericks lost the first meeting in Dallas by a score of 118-99 and enter this contest riding a three-game winning streak. Charlotte enters this matchup looking to extend a four-game winning streak when they host the Mavericks.
Mavericks Three Game Winning StreakDallas enters this game riding a three-game winning streak and missed last night's scheduled matchup with New Orleans due to Covid-19 issues as Josh Richardson, Dorian Finney-Smith, Jalen Brunson, and Maxi Kleber were all held out thanks to protocol issues and their status for Wednesday is unclear. Kristaps Porzingis is set to return for this game and that will be a welcome addition to a 5-4 Mavericks team without him. Luka Doncic leads the Mavs in several categories including points per game (26.6), rebounds (9.1), and assists (8.1) this season.
