This Saturday, there is a matchup between two Western Conference teams in the NBA as the Los Angeles Lakers and the Houston Rockets will face off at about 8:30 PM. This will be the first meeting between these teams this season and it will take place at the Toyota Center.

Rockets Look To Get Back On Track

So far this season, the Houston Rockets have looked like a pretty good basketball team in the Western Conference. The Rockets have won 26 of their first 40 games which puts them in fifth place in the standings. However, Houston is entering this game in terrible form as it has lost three of its last four games so it has struggled a bit lately. Now, Houston will be looking to get back on track against one of the best teams in the entire league on Saturday. Luckily for the Rockets, this game will be played at the Toyota Center where they have won 14 of their first 19 home games so Houston should be able to play well in this game.

Leading the Rockets offensively is star guard James Harden who has looked great so far this season. He is currently averaging a league-high 37.2 points per game along with 7.8 rebounds and 7.2 assists. However, Harden is also averaging 4.1 turnovers per game which is the second-most in the entire league.

Houston's most underrated player is center Clint Capela who has been very good so far this season. He is averaging 14.5 points per game along with a team-high 14.5 rebounds per game. In addition, he is averaging a team-high 1.7 blocks per game so he has been very active on both sides of the ball.

Prediction: Los Angeles Lakers

Full-Game Total Pick

Insiders Status:

Both teams have looked really good offensively this season so I think that this high total is not actually high enough. Los Angeles has averaged 114.0 points per game while Houston is averaging 118.7 points per game so I think that both teams should be able to score around 120 points apiece in this game. Plus, both teams also enter this game in terrible form defensively as they have allowed at least 117 points in their last respective game so I think that this game should feature a ton of points. Give me the over as a result.

Prediction: Over

Half-Time Side Pick

Insiders Status:

Los Angeles enters this game off a very rare loss so I think that it should be very focused on playing well for at least the first 20 minutes of this road game on Saturday. Plus, Houston has lost each of its last two games as it has given up at least 117 points in both games so I think that it will continue struggling defensively against one of the best teams in the league. Los Angeles has also played great defense all season long as it is only allowing 105.4 points per game so it should be able to get enough stops in order to cover this first half spread. Give me the road team as a result.

Prediction: Los Angeles Lakers 1H
