Toronto Raptors vs. Portland Trailblazers

Where: Moda Center, Portland, OR

When: Wednesday, November 13, 10:05 PM. ET.

The Portland Trailblazers will be trying to bounce back from their loss to the Sacramento Kings when they take on the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night.

Raptors Going For Eight win in Last Nine Contests Against The Blazers

The Raptors have dominated their series with the Trailblazers for some time, but they had their six-game winning streak snapped by the Trailblazers the last time they played at the Moda Center. The Raptors bounced back from the loss with a win in Toronto and will try to pick up their second consecutive win in the series and eighth win in their last nine games against the Trailblazers.

Toronto is coming off a back-to-back against the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers and will be dealing with a little fatigue playing in their third game in four nights. Fortunately for them, the Trailblazers haven’t played well on the defensive end, which gives the raptors a good chance of escaping with the win.

The Raptors are averaging 112.5 points per game, but they were held to 88 points by the Clippers in their last game and will be hoping for a better offensive performance on Wednesday.

Pascal Siakam led the Raptors in the loss with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. Norman Powell finished with 15 points and four rebounds, while Fred VanVleet added 15 points and four rebounds.

The Raptors are a good defensive team, holding opponents to 106.7 points, which is ninth in the league. Even though they didn’t have Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka, they were able to hold the Clippers to 98 points in the loss. They will give themselves a chance to win this game if they can hold the Trailblazers under 100 points.

Trailblazers Going For Second Win In Seven Games

The Trailblazers managed to snap their four-game losing streak when they beat the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, but they failed to take the momentum into their last game, losing to the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday. They will be trying to bounce back from the loss and pick up a win over the short-handed Raptors, which will give them their second win in their last seven games.

Portland has played well offensively this season, averaging 114.1 points per game, which is eighth in the league. But, they were held to 99 points by the Kings and will need to play significantly better to get past the Raptors.

Damian Lillard once again led the way for the Trailblazers, finishing the game with 27 points, four rebounds, and five assists. C.J. McCollum finished with 24 points and five rebounds, while Hassan Whiteside added 17 points and seven rebounds.

Portland’s biggest problem has been on the defensive end, with the team giving up 114.6 points per game. They gave up 107 points to the Kings in their last game and will need another decent defensive effort to get the win.

Best Bets for this Game

Full-Game Side Bet

Insiders Status:

Even though their recent play has not inspired a lot of confidence, the Trailblazers are the pick here because the Raptors are short-handed and will be dealing with a lot of fatigue playing their third game in their last four days. The Trailblazers are still playing poorly defensively, but their offense, which is averaging 114.3 points per game, and scored 124 points in their last game, will help them get past the Raptors, who managed only 88 points in their last game. The Raptors are a good defensive team and will put up a fight, but expect them to wear down late in the game and Lillard to take over and lead his team to the win.

Prediction: Portland Trailblazers -3

Full-Game Total Pick

Insiders Status:

The Raptors are averaging 112.5 points per game and will come close to or score more than their season average against the Trailblazers, who are giving up 114.6 points per game. Portland is averaging 114.1 points, but they too will go over their season average against a Raptors team that will be experiencing some fatigue, making the over the best bet here.

Prediction: Over 221

Half-Time Side Pick

Insiders Status:

The Raptors will cover the first-half spread in this game because they have been a good first half team this season and have outplayed the Trailblazers, averaging 57.7 points per game while Portland averages 45 points per game.

Prediction: Toronto Raptors

Half-Time Total Bet

Insiders Status:

The Trailblazers and Raptors are averaging 102.7 combined points per game in the first half of their last three games and will stay under the first-half total in this game if they maintain their current scoring pace.

Prediction: Under
