This Sunday, there is a matchup between two Western Conferences team in the NBA as the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Portland Trail Blazers will face off at about 9:00 PM. This will be the third meeting between these teams this season and it will take place at the Moda Center.

Portland Looks For Another Home Win

Through 23 games this season, the Portland Trail Blazers have been a very underwhelming team in the Western Conference. The Trail Blazers were expected to compete for a playoff spot when the season started and they are nowhere near the eighth spot in the standings with a 9-14 record. The Trail Blazers have struggled regardless of location but they are 4-5 at home which is a bit surprising due to their usual dominance at the Moda Center. Now, Portland will look to get back to .500 at home with a victory in this game.

Leading the Trail Blazers offensively is star guardDamian Lillard who looked great so far this season. He is leading his team with 26.7 points per game. In addition, he is averaging 7.4 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game so he has made an impact several ways. Now, Lillard will look to lead his team to another victory against the Thunder on Sunday.

Portland's most underrated player is centerHassan Whiteside who has been solid so far this season. He is averaging 15.4 points per game along with 12.5 rebounds per game. In addition, he is also averaging a team-high 2.1 blocks so he has the ability to impact the game in a variety of ways.

Best Bets for this Game

Full-Game Side Bet

Insiders Status:

Simply put, the Trail Blazers have played much better at home this season and I think that it will show on Sunday. Plus, the Thunder have been terrible on the road this season as they have lost seven of their first nine games away from home so I expect them to struggle in this hostile environment on Sunday. Portland has also won each of the first two meetings between these two teams up to this point in the season so I expect the Trail Blazers to continue their success against the Thunder in this game. Give me the home team.

Prediction: Portland Trail Blazers -4

Full-Game Total Pick

Insiders Status:

Both of these two teams have pretty good offenses and underwhelming defenses so I will take the over. Both teams are averaging over 108.0 points per game while allowing over 109.1 points per game so I think that this game should be pretty high scoring. Plus, the last meeting between these two teams totaled 255 so I think that this total is way too low for this game. I think that this game could easily end in the 230s so I have to take the over.

Prediction: Over 223

Half-Time Side Pick

Insiders Status:

Portland has the significantly better guards in this game and I think that Oklahoma City will struggle containing both Lillard and McCollum for the first 24 minutes so I think that this spread is too low. I think that Portland will ride the momentum of the crowd as it should be up by at least five points entering the break. As a result, I think that this number is too low so I will take the home team in this game.

Prediction: Portland Trail Blazers 1H
