This Wednesday, there is a matchup between two Western Conference teams in the NBA as the Golden State Warriors and the Phoenix Suns will face off at about 9:00 PM. This will be the third meeting between these teams this season and it will take place at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.
Suns Look To Get Back On TrackSo far this season, the Phoenix Suns have looked like a slightly underwhelming team in the Western Conference. The Suns have lost 33 of their first 54 games which places them in 13th place in the conference standings. To make matters worse, Phoenix has lost six of its last seven games so it has been playing some awful basketball lately. Now, the Suns will be looking to get back on track with a home game against an inferior opponent up next. However, Phoenix has lost 18 of its first 28 home games this season so it has surprisingly struggled in front of its home fans so far this season.
Leading the Suns offensively is guardDevin Booker who has looked great so far this season. He is averaging a team-high 26.4 points per game along with 6.3 assists. In addition, he is shooting 49.9% from the floor so he has been pretty efficient offensively up to this point.
Phoenix's most underrated player is centerDeandre Ayton who has been solid so far this season. He is averaging 18.7 points per game along with a team-high 12.0 rebounds per game. In addition, he is averaging a team-high 1.6 blocks per game so he has been a great rim protector up to this point.
