Suns Look To Get Back On Track

So far this season, the Phoenix Suns have looked like a slightly underwhelming team in the Western Conference. The Suns have lost 33 of their first 54 games which places them in 13th place in the conference standings. To make matters worse, Phoenix has lost six of its last seven games so it has been playing some awful basketball lately. Now, the Suns will be looking to get back on track with a home game against an inferior opponent up next. However, Phoenix has lost 18 of its first 28 home games this season so it has surprisingly struggled in front of its home fans so far this season.

Leading the Suns offensively is guardDevin Booker who has looked great so far this season. He is averaging a team-high 26.4 points per game along with 6.3 assists. In addition, he is shooting 49.9% from the floor so he has been pretty efficient offensively up to this point.

Phoenix's most underrated player is centerDeandre Ayton who has been solid so far this season. He is averaging 18.7 points per game along with a team-high 12.0 rebounds per game. In addition, he is averaging a team-high 1.6 blocks per game so he has been a great rim protector up to this point.

Even though this spread might seem a bit high, I think that it is warranted since Phoenix has been the much better team all season long. Golden State has lost 23 of its first 28 road games this season so I cannot trust the Warriors in this spot. Golden State has also lost each of its last three games so it is been playing some terrible basketball over the past two weeks which should most likely carry over into this game. As a result, I think that there is some value with the home team in this spot. Give me the home team.

Prediction: Phoenix Suns

Full-Game Total Pick

Insiders Status:

Rating:

Both of these teams have been very underwhelming defensively this season so I think that this total should be a bit higher. Golden State is allowing 114.8 points per game while Phoenix is allowing 113.8 points per game so I think that this game should feature a ton of points. Plus, Phoenix is averaging 112.4 points per game so it has the ability to score a ton of points if the opposition does not step it up on defense. This game should end somewhere in the realm of 125-107 so I think that there is some value with the over.

Prediction: Over

Half-Time Side Pick

Insiders Status:

Rating:

Phoenix has been the better team this season and Golden State has been awful on the road so I think that the Suns should be able to get out to a fast start within the first 24 minutes of this game. Golden State is also still trying to adjust to its new roster after trading some of its key pieces right before the Trade Deadline so I expect to see the Warriors look a little bit lost as they continue to mess with the rotations. I think that Phoenix should be able to enter the break with a double digit lead so I think that this number is too low. Give me the home team.

Prediction: Phoenix Suns 1H
