Miami faces Toronto from the Air Canada Centre just three days away from the All-Star break. These teams have met just once this season with Miami winning on the road, 90-89 on Jan. 9.

Miami is slipping in the Eastern Conference to eighth place, having lost five of their last six. They did win their last game on Feb. 9 against Milwaukee, 91-85 at home. The big news in that game on Friday was that Dwyane Wade returned home after being acquired from Cleveland. He struggled though scoring just three points on 1-of-6 shooting, while coming off the bench but did have two blocks and two steals. All-Star point guard Goran Dragic had a rough game, going 1-for-11 from the floor. He’s questionable with a hand injury.

Toronto is now in first place in the East after beating Charlotte on Sunday 123-103. They’ve now won five straight games by an average of 21 points. C.J. Miles scored a season-high 24 points and is now 14-of-21 from 3-point range over his last three games. DeMar DeRozan rebounded from a bad game against the Knicks to score 25 points on 10-of-19 shooting against the Hornets.

As well as the Raptors are played, their defense has been top-notch, holding three straight teams under 100 points before the Hornets scored 103 on Sunday. Miami has to win games with their defense because they don’t have that kind of firepower. These teams have played five straight unders. Miami is 13-3 Under their last 16 vs. the Atlantic Division and 9-0 Under their last 9 Tuesday games. Toronto os 5-1 Under their last 6 after an ATS win.
