Despite the win, they are still five games behind the Memphis Grizzlies in the Western Conference standings and can’t afford to lose any games if they want to clinch one of the remaining playoff spots.
Phoenix has played well offensively, averaging 112.7 points per game, which is 14th in the league. They scored 125 in their last game and will need to keep playing well if they want to keep up with the Mavericks.
Devin Booker leads the way for the Suns with 26.1 points per game. He is also averaging 4.2 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game. Deandre Ayton is the team’s second-leading scorer. He is averaging 19.2 points and 12 rebounds per game. They combined for 51 points and 17 rebounds in their win over the Wizards.
