Insiders Status:
Clemson has been stellar at home this season, posting a 9-1 record with their lone defeat a five-point overtime loss to Memphis. The Tigers are solid on both ends of the floor this season and shoot the ball well from the perimeter and the charity stripe. Florida State struggles if Watkins and/or Ewin donāt have good games on the offensive end of the floor. The Seminoles have won four of their last five though they have dropped each of their games against their four toughest opponents this season. Clemson is the second-toughest team ranking wise that Florida State has faced this season, according to KenPom. Seeing that the Seminolesā win over a flounder Hurricanesā squad was their first road win of the season, you have to give the advantage to Clemson here.
Full-Game Total Pick

This one has the makings of a rock fight as both teams are pretty good on the defensive end of the floor. The Seminoles are 51st in defensive efficiency, 42nd in effective field goal percentage defense (46.5%), 36th in turnover percentage (21.4%), seventh in block percentage (17.1%), 37th in steal percentage (12.5%) and 41st in field goal percentage defense (40%) this season. Clemson is 40th in defensive efficiency, 143rd in effective field goal percentage defense (49.6%), 50th in forced turnover percentage (20.8%) and make opposing teams hold the ball for the longest time (19.4 seconds) per possession in Division I. The Tigers are 290th in adjusted tempo by averaging 65.7 possessions per game. Look for Clemson to slow things down and help keep this game under the total.
