Insiders Status:
Arkansas has dropped two straight games, losing to ranked opponents in Tennessee and Ole Miss. Meanwhile, we just saw Florida destroy Tennessee, although that game was in Gainesville while the Razorbacks’ loss came in Knoxville. With that said Arkansas did just lose at home to Ole Miss for their first home defeat of the season. The Razorbacks are just 1-4 against ranked opponents this season with their lone win a two-point triumph over Michigan on a neutral floor on December 10. Florida is clicking on all cylinders and they bounced back from their overtime defeat at Kentucky by throttling Tennessee. Look for the Gators to pick up the victory here to stake a claim to a top five spot in the rankings.
Full-Game Total Pick
Insiders Status:
We just saw Florida completely stifle Tennessee at home, showing how stingy they are defensively. The Gators are 16th in defensive efficiency, 5th in effective field goal percentage defense (42.6%), 8th in field goal percentage (37.4%), 15th in two-point defense (43.5%), 40th in scoring defense and 5th in three-point defense (27.4%) this season. Florida does play at a fast tempo, ranking 78th in adjusted tempo with 70.4 possessions a game. Arkansas is 32nd in defensive efficiency, 57th in effective field goal percentage defense (47.2%), 99th in forced turnover percentage (19%) and ninth in block percentage (16.8%) this season. Look for Florida to clamp down on the Arkansas shooters, helping push this game under the total.
