Two AAC teams will face off against each other on Wednesday as the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes travel to Charles Koch Arena to take on the Wichita State Shockers. Tulsa enters this game with a 7-3 record after beating South Florida on the road by ten points in its last game while Wichita State enters this game with a 7-3 record after beating Cincinnati at home by six points in its last game. This game will start at 7:00 P.M. EST.
Tulsa Looks To Extend Its Winning Streak
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane have become a serious contender in the AAC this season as they have won four of their first five conference games including a ten-point road victory against the South Florida Bulls in their last game. In that game, Tulsa's defense was amazing as it only allowed 51 points while forcing the opposition into shooting just 32.7% from the floor and just 13.6% from the three-point line. In addition, the Golden Hurricanes enter this game in great form as they have won each of their last six games. Now, Tulsa will be looking to extend this winning streak with another conference road game up next on Wednesday.Leading the way offensively for Tulsa this season is senior guard Brandon Rachal who is averaging a team-high 15.8 points per game along with a team-high 7.6 rebounds per game. In addition, he is averaging a team-high 1.0 blocks per game as he has looked like a solid rim protector.

Following the road victory against South Florida, Tulsa coach Frank Haith praised his team for its defensive effort.
"We really did a good job of getting consecutive stops with our defense to begin the game and in the second half. Our defense was outstanding."
Wichita State's Offense Looks To Keep Rolling
The Wichita State Shockers have been heating up at the right time as they have won six of their last seven games including a six-point home victory against the Cincinnati Bearcats in their last game. In that game, Wichita State's offense was great as it scored 82 points while attempting 34 free throws. The Shockers have been clicking on all cylinders offensively over the past few weeks as they have scored at least 81 points in four of their last five games. Now, the Shockers will be looking for another stellar offensive performance at home in this conference game on Wednesday.Leading the way offensively for Wichita State this season is sophomore guard Tyson Etienne who is averaging a team-high 17.7 points per game along with 3.9 rebounds per game. However, he is also shooting just 38.9% from the field as he has struggled with his shot all season long.

Following the home victory against Cincinnati, Wichita State guard Ricky Council IV discussed his team's mindset moving forward.
"We're just trying to win every game. In Houston we came up short, but we definitely felt like we could have won that game, and we've got to move forward and take it game by game. Next is Tulsa, we already played them, so we know what to do."
