This Tuesday, there is an NCAAB matchup between the Bowling Green Falcons and the Western Michigan Broncos. This game will take place at the University Arena at approximately 7:00 P.M EST.

Bowling Green Looks To Extend Winning Streak

The Bowling Green Falcons have looked like a very solid basketball team in the MAC so far this season. The Falcons enter this game having won 11 of their first 16 games including a road victory against Ohio in their last game by nine points. In that game, Bowling Green's offense was fantastic as it scored 83 points while shooting 50.0% from the floor. In addition, Bowling Green has won each of its last two games so it has been in solid form lately. Now, Bowling Green will be looking to extend that winning streak with another road win on Tuesday. Luckily, the Falcons have already won two of their first three conference games this season.

Leading the Falcons offensively is junior guard Justin Turner who has looked very good this season. He is averaging a team-high 18.5 points per game along with 5.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists. In addition, he is averaging a team-high 1.4 steals per game as he has been very active on both sides of the ball.

Bowling Green's most underrated player is senior guard Dylan Frye who has been solid so far this season as he is averaging 14.4 points per game along with 4.4 assists and 3.7 rebounds. However, he is also shooting just 38.8% from the floor and just 31.8% from the three-point line so he has been pretty inefficient offensively up to this point.

Western Michigan Looks To Avoid Falling Below .500

The Western Michigan Broncos have looked like an average basketball team so far this season. The Broncos have an 8-8 record and enter this game on a low note after losing to Toledo on the road in their last game by eight points. In that game, Western Michigan's offense was terrible as it only scored 59 points while shooting just 36.5% from the floor and just 18.2% from the three-point line. Now, Western Michigan will be looking to avoid having a losing record by getting itself another home victory in this conference game on Tuesday. Luckily, the Broncos have won six of their first seven home games this season so they should be able to put in a much better performance.

Leading the Broncos offensively is junior guard Michael Flowers who has been solid this season. He is averaging a team-high 17.5 points per game along with 3.4 assists and 2.9 rebounds. However, he is also averaging 2.6 turnovers and 2.4 fouls per game so he will need to reduce the number of mistakes that have been making in the future.

Western Michigan's most underrated player is junior forward Brandon Johnsonwho was great so far this season as he is currently averaging 15.1 points per game along with a team-high 8.4 rebounds. In addition, he is entering this game in great form after scoring 23 points in his last game. Now, he will look to continue playing well offensively in this home game.

Best Bets for this Game

Full-Game Side Bet

Prediction: Bowling Green -4

Full-Game Total Pick

Insiders Status:

Both of these two teams have been average at best defensively so I have to take the over in this game. Bowling Green is allowing 72.0 points per game while Western Michigan is allowing 74.4 points per game so I can see this game being a bit more high-scoring than what the oddsmakers indicate. Plus, Bowling Green likes to play at a somewhat fast tempo as it ranks 132nd in adjusted offensive tempo according to Kenpom rankings so I can see this game being played primarily in transition which will lead to more possessions and more points. Give me the over as a result.

Prediction: Over 144

Half-Time Side Pick

Insiders Status:

Bowling Green has been a very solid team in the MAC this season while Western Michigan has looked average so I think that this game can get a bit ugly within the first 20 minutes of this game. Bowling Green is averaging nine more points per game than Western Michigan so I am a bit skeptical of Western Michigan's ability to keep this game close on the scoreboard early on. I expect Bowling Green's offense to overwhelm the opposition with its quality scoring depth en route to a first half cover as a result. Give me the road team.

Prediction: Bowling Green 1H
