This Tuesday, there is an NCAAB matchup between the Central Michigan Chippewas and the Toledo Rockets. This game will take place at Savage Arena at approximately 7:00 P.M EST.

Central Michigan Looks For Its First Road Win

The Central Michigan Chippewas have been a pretty good team up to this point in the season. The Chippewas have a 9-7 record after losing to Kent State by six points on the road in their last game. In that game, Central Michigan's defense struggled as it gave up 79 points while allowing the opposition to shoot 42.9% from the three-point line. However, that performance was not that surprising considering the fact that Central Michigan has been awful away from McGuirk Arena so far this season. Entering this game, Central Michigan has lost all seven of its road games and it will now have the chance to get its first road victory of the season in this conference game.

Leading the Chippewas offensively is senior guard Kevin McKay who has been amazing this season. He is averaging a team-high 15.4 points per game along with a team-high 6.1 rebounds. In addition, he is shooting an insane 66.4% from the floor this season so he has been very smart with his shot selection up to this point.

Central Michigan's most underrated player is senior guardDallas Morgan who has been very good so far this season as he is averaging 13.2 points per game along with 3.7 rebounds. In addition, he is shooting 38.5% from the three-point line so he has been very efficient from long range.

Toledo Looks For Another Home Win

The Toledo Rockets have looked like a pretty good basketball team so far this season. The Rockets have a 9-7 record and enter this game on a high note after beating Western Michigan at home in their last game by eight points. In that game, Toledo's defense was amazing as it only allowed 59 points while forcing the opposition to shoot just 36.5% from the floor and just 18.2% from the three-point line. However, Toledo has been playing some poor basketball over the past few weeks as it has lost five of its last six games. Luckily, the Rockets won six of their first seven home games this season so perhaps they will be able to put that bad stretch behind them with another home victory on Tuesday.

Leading the Rockets offensively is junior guard Marreon Jackson who has been pretty good this season. He is averaging a team-high 17.2 points per game along with 6.2 assists and 4.1 rebounds. However, he is shooting just 39.6% from the floor so he has been extremely inefficient offensively through the first 12 games.

Toledo's most underrated player is senior forwardWillie Jackson who has been amazingso far this season. He is averaging 11.7 points per game along with a team-high 12.5 rebounds per game. However, he is also averaging a team-high 3.3 turnovers per game so he will need to do a better job with his ball security in the future.

Even though both of these two teams have the exact same record, Toledo is at home for this game so I think that it should be able to get the job done on Tuesday. Toledo has won six of its first seven home games while Central Michigan has lost each of its first seven road games this season so I expect the Chippewas to continue struggling on the road in this conference game. Plus, Toledo is the much better rebounding team so it should be able to generate enough second chance points in order to cover this spread. Give me the home team as a result.

Prediction: Toledo -8.5
