This Friday, there is an NCAAB matchup between the Furman Paladins and the Wofford Terriers. This game will take place at the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium at approximately 7:00 P.M EST.

Furman Looks To Keep Rolling

The Furman Paladins have looked like a very good college basketball team so far this season. The Paladins have won 15 of their first 19 games this season and they enter this game on a high note after beating Western Carolina at home by four points in their last game. In that game, Furman's offense was solid as it scored 83 points while shooting 45.9% from the floor. In addition, Furman enters this game in great form as it has won eight of its last nine games. Now, Furman will be looking to continue its winning ways with a conference road game up next.

Leading the Paladins offensively is senior guard Jordan Lyons who has looked good this season as he is averaging a team-high 17.0 points per game along with 2.6 rebounds. However, he is also averaging 2.3 turnovers per game so he will need to do a better job with his ball security moving forward.

Furman's most underrated player is junior forward Clay Mounce who has looked very good this season as he is averaging 13.6 points per game along with a team-high 6.6 rebounds. In addition, he is averaging a team-high 1.7 steals per game so he has been very active on both sides of the ball.

Wofford Looks For Another Home Win

The Wofford Terriers have looked like a pretty good basketball team up to this point in the season. The Terriers have won 11 of their first 18 games this season despite entering this game on a low note after losing to Chattanooga by 13 points on the road in their last game. In that game, Wofford's offense was awful as it only scored 59 points while shooting just 40.0% from the floor. Now, Wofford will be looking to get back on track with a conference home game up next. Luckily, the Terriers have won seven of their first eight home games so perhaps playing in front of their home crowd will lead to another victory.

Leading the Terriers offensively is senior guard Nathan Hoover who has been pretty underwhelming this season. He is averaging a team-high 14.3 points per game along with 4.4 rebounds. However, he is shooting just 33.9% from the floor and just 29.5% from the three-point line so he has been very inefficient offensively up to this point in the season.

Wofford's most underrated player is junior forward Chevez Goodwin who has been good this season. He is averaging 9.9 points per game along with a team-high 6.3 rebounds. In addition, he is averaging a team-high 1.4 blocks per game so he has been extremely active on both sides of the ball.

Best Bets for this Game

Full-Game Side Bet

Insiders Status:

Rating:

Furman has looked like the better team so far this season so I have to side with the road team in this spot. Furman has also won six of its first nine road games this season so it has looked very comfortable when playing in hostile environments up to this point. Plus, Furman is scoring roughly five more points per game and is allowing roughly two fewer points per game so I think that Wofford is simply outmatched in this game. As a result, I see some value with the road team in this spot. Give me the road team.

Prediction: Furman -3

Full-Game Total Pick

Insiders Status:

Rating:

Both of these teams have been pretty good defensively this season so I think that this total should be a bit lower. Furman is allowing just 66.1 points per game while Wofford is allowing just 68.8 points per game so I think that this game should finish somewhere in the low-130s. Plus, Wofford loves to play at a very slow pace offensively as it ranks 324th in adjusted offensive tempo according to Kenpom rankings so I think that this game should feature a lot of possessions in the halfcourt which will result in less points. Give me the under.

Prediction: Under 140

Half-Time Side Pick

Insiders Status:

Rating:

Furman enters this game having won eight of its last nine games so I think that it should be able to play well for the first 20 minutes of this game against a slightly inferior foe. Plus, Furman is averaging about two more rebounds per game so the Paladins should be able to generate enough second chance points in order to put themselves in a good position to cover this number. I expect Furman to enter the break with at least a four-point lead so there is value with the road team in this spot. Give me the road team as a result.

Prediction: Furman 1H
