This Saturday, there is an NCAAB matchup between the Indiana Hoosiers and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. This game will take place at the Pinnacle Bank Arena at approximately 7:00 P.M EST.

Indiana Looks For A Rare Road Win

The Indiana Hoosiers have looked like a pretty good basketball team up to this point in the season. The Hoosiers have won 14 of their first 17 games this season despite losing their last game on the road against Rutgers by nine points. In that game, Indiana's offense was terrible as it only scored 50 points while shooting just 31.7% from the floor. Now, Indiana has to play another road game in conference play on Saturday. Unfortunately for the Hoosiers, they have lost three of their first five road games so they have not fared too well away from home up to this point. If Indiana plans on getting a road victory in this game, it will need to play much better offensively.

Leading the Hoosiers offensively is freshman forwardTrayce Jackson-Davis who has looked amazing this season. He is currently averaging a team-high 14.0 points per game along with a team-high 7.9 rebounds. In addition, he is averaging a team-high 2.1 blocks so he has been very effective on both sides of the ball this season.

Indiana's most underrated player is junior forward Justin Smith who has looked good this season. He is currently averaging 12.0 points per game along with 5.4 rebounds. In addition, he is also averaging 1.4 steals per game so he has been effective on both sides of the ball this season.

Nebraska Looks To Get Back On Track

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have looked like a below average basketball team up to this point in the season as they enter this game with a 7-10 record. To make matters worse, Nebraska has lost each of its last two games as well as three of its last four games so it is not in good form at this point in time. Now, the Cornhuskers will hope that a trip home will help them get back on track before their season goes completely off the rails. Luckily, Nebraska has managed to win seven games at home already this season so perhaps the familiar surroundings will help it snap this current losing streak against a formidable conference foe.

Leading the Cornhuskers offensively is senior guard Haanif Cheatham who has been good this season as he is averaging a team-high 12.9 points per game along with 4.2 rebounds. In addition, he managed to score 21 points against Indiana in the first meeting this season so he will be looking to put in another solid performance on Saturday.

Nebraska's most underrated player is sophomore guard Cam Mackwho has been solid so far this season as he is averaging 12.5 points per game along with a team-high 6.7 assists. However, he is also averaging a team-high 4.0 turnovers per game so he struggled with his ball security up to this point.

Rating:

Both of these teams have looked pretty good offensively this season so I think that this total just a bit too low. Indiana is averaging 74.6 points per game while Nebraska is averaging 72.5 points per game so I think that both teams should be able to continue playing well offensively in this matchup. Plus, both teams combined to score 186 points in the first meeting this season so I would not be surprised to see this game feature a lot of points as well. As a result, I think that there is some value with the over in this spot. Give me the over.

Prediction: Over 142.5
