The Orange crushed Boston College 76-50 in their latest clash, and the Hokies tallied an 80-70 road win over Wake Forest on Tuesday night. The Hokies registered a 67-63 road win against the Orange earlier this month.
Orange Defense Shines in Third ACC Win
The Syracuse Orange are targeting their third consecutive win in this one. They countered a home loss to Virginia Tech with a big 63-55 overtime road win against Virginia, followed by a dominating 76-50 home win over Boston College on Wednesday in a game that had the Orange favored by three points. The Orange are 3-3 in ACC play.
Elijah Hughes continues to shine. The junior forward accumulated another 19 points in Wednesday’s victory and he has consistently produced all season. Hughes enters this one averaging 19.5 PPG and 5 RPG. Buddy Boeheim is also looking good, collecting at least 20 points in two out of his last four games.
