Marist Wins OT Thriller, Eyes Third Straight Win
The Marist Red Foxes are hunting for their third straight win. They have answered a two-game slide with an 83-73 win over Iona, followed by a wild 75-73 overtime home win over Manhattan on Wednesday in a clash that had Marist labeled as 5.5 point dogs. The Red Foxes have been inconsistent from an offensive standpoint in their 3-5 start to conference play.
Michael Cubbage has netted at least 11 points in two out of his last three games. The junior guard is not an accurate shooter and holds an average of 10.1 PPG on an abysmal 34% clip from the field. Matthew Herasme is playing well, connecting on at least 50% of his field goals in his last two games for a combined 14 points. The sophomore guard is now averaging 8.8 PPG and 4.8 RPG. Tyler Sagi came out of nowhere with a surprising 23 points effort in Wednesday’s victory. The freshman guard has increased his season average to 8.9 points and he is shooting 40%.

Siena Loses Three Straight to Fall to 3-4 in MAAC Play
The Siena Saints will look to regroup and return to the form they displayed early in conference play. The Saints opened conference play strong but have since lost three straight games to fall to 3-4 in MAAC action. They were 2.5 point favorites in a 72-71 road loss to Niagara in their latest clash on Sunday. The Saints offense is in a lull.
Jalen Pickett is having an inconsistent season but is capable of big points. The sophomore guard has eclipsed 20 points four times this season and holds an average of 15.7 PPG and 4.5 RPG. Elijah Burns is having a terrific season and has connected on at least 50% of his field goals in seven out of his last eight games. The senior forward is sporting an average of 14.2 PPG on a 60% clip from the field accompanied by 6.1 RPG. Manny Camper is playing well, scoring over 20 points in two out of his last three games. The junior guard has lifted his season average to 13.3 PPG and 10.8 RPG.
