Arizona Looks For Its First Road Win

The Arizona Wildcats have been a solid college basketball team up to this point in the season. The Wildcats have won 13 of their first 18 games and they enter this game on a high note after beating Colorado by 21 points in their last game at home. In that game, Arizona's defense was amazing as it only allowed 54 points while forcing the opposition to shoot just 36.7% from the floor. In addition, Arizona has won each of its last two games to it will have the opportunity to extend its winning streak with another victory on Saturday. However, the Wildcats have struggled a lot on the road this season so getting a win over the weekend is anything but certain. Arizona has lost all three of its road games this season and it will be looking to get its first road win of the season in this game.

Leading the Wildcats offensively is freshman forwardZeke Nnaji who has been pretty good this season as he is averaging a team-high 16.7 points per game along with a team-high 8.7 rebounds. In addition, he is shooting 65.3% from the floor so he has been very efficient offensively up to this point.

Arizona's most underrated player is freshman guardNico Mannion who has been very good so far this season as he is averaging 14.0 points per game along with a team-high 6.1 assists. However, he is shooting just 42.2% from the floor so he will need to become a bit more efficient offensively in the future.

Arizona State Looks For Another Home Win

The Arizona State Sun Devils have looked like an above average college basketball team so far this season. The Sun Devils have won 11 of their first 18 games and they enter this game on a high note after beating Utah by 19 points at home in their last game. In that game, Arizona State's defense looked great as it only allowed 64 points while forcing the opposition to shoot just 39.3% from the floor. In addition, Arizona State has looked good at home as it has a 7-4 record at Desert Financial Arena this season. Now, it will have the opportunity to get itself another home win against a conference rival on Saturday.

Leading the Sun Devils offensively is junior guard Remy Martin who has been solid this season. He is averaging a team-high 19.5 points per game along with a team-high 4.2 assists. However, he is also averaging a team-high 2.9 turnovers per game so he will need to limit his mistakes moving forward.

Arizona State's most underrated player is junior forwardRomello White who has been pretty good this season. He is averaging 10.7 points per game along with a team-high 9.3 rebounds. In addition, he is shooting 66.3% from the floor so he has been very efficient offensively up to this point.

Best Bets for this Game

Full-Game Side Bet

Insiders Status:

Rating:

Even though Arizona State is at home for this game, Arizona is better in virtually every statistic so I think that there is a serious talent disparity in this matchup. Arizona is averaging roughly eight more points per game so I am skeptical of Arizona State's ability to score enough points to keep this game close and to cover this spread after 40 minutes. Plus, Arizona is the better rebounding team so it should be able to generate enough second-chance points which gives the Wildcats a great chance to cover this spread. As a result, I think that there is a lot of value on the road team in this spot.

Prediction: Arizona -5

Full-Game Total Pick

Insiders Status:

Rating:

Both of these two teams have been very good offensively so I think that this total is too low. Arizona is averaging 81.6 points per game while Arizona State is scoring 73.1 points per game so I think that this game should be pretty high-scoring. Plus, Arizona State likes to play at a very fast tempo as it ranks 24th in adjusted offensive tempo according to Kenpom rankings so I think that this game has the potential to turn into a track meet in which both teams will have ample scoring chances in transition. As a result, I think that there is a lot of value with the over.

Prediction: Over 146.5

Half-Time Side Pick

Insiders Status:

Rating:

Arizona has won each of its last two games so it is in solid form and I think that will carry over into the first half of this game. Arizona has the better offense and the better defense in this matchup so Arizona State should struggle keeping this game close for at least the first 20 minutes of this game. Plus, Arizona has the deeper roster so it should be able to shuffle solid contributors into the lineup while Arizona State will most likely get into foul trouble which is a bit concerning for the Sun Devils. Give me the road team as a result.

Prediction: Arizona 1H
