Colorado State Looks To Extend Winning Streak

The Colorado State Rams have looked like a good college basketball team so far this season. The Rams have won 14 of their first 21 games and they enter this game on a high note after defeating Fresno State at home by 18 points in their last game. In that game, Colorado State's offense was great as it scored 86 points while shooting 54.0% from the floor. In addition, the Rams enter this game in great form as they have won each of their last five games. Now, Colorado State will have to win a game in a very hostile environment if it plans on extending that winning streak.

Leading the Rams offensively is freshman guard Isaiah Stevens who has been very solid this season as he is averaging a team-high 13.3 points per game along with 4.4 assists. In addition, he is averaging 1.0 steals per game so he has been very active on both sides of the ball.

Colorado State's most underrated player is senior center Nico Carvacho who has been really good so far this season. He is averaging 12.0 points per game along with a team-high 10.5 rebounds. In addition, he has been efficient offensively as he is shooting 54.6% from the floor.

Utah State Looks For Another Home Win

The Utah State Aggies have looked like a pretty good college basketball team up to this point in the season. The Aggies have won 15 of their first 21 games of the season and they enter this game on a high note after beating Air Force at home by 25 points in their last game. In that game, Utah State's defense was amazing as it only allowed 47 points while forcing the opposition to shoot just 15.8% from the three-point line. Now, Utah State will be looking for another home victory on Saturday. Luckily, the Aggies have won 11 of their first 12 home games this season so they should be able to continue playing well.

Leading the Aggies offensively is senior guardSam Merrill who has been great so far this season. He is averaging a team-high 17.5 points per game along with 4.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists. In addition, he is shooting 37.9% from the three-point line so he has been able to stretch defenses out all by himself.

Utah State's most underrated player is sophomore forwardJustin Bean who has been unbelievable so far this season. He is averaging 13.2 points per game along with a team-high 10.4 rebounds per game. In addition, he is shooting 51.7% from the floor so he has looked very efficient on offense up to this point.
