This Monday, there is an NCAAB matchup between the Southern Utah Thunderbirds and the Idaho Vandals. This game will take place at the Cowan Spectrum at approximately 9:30 P.M EST.
Idaho Looks To Snap Losing StreakThe Idaho Vandals have looked like an underwhelming college basketball team up to this point in the season. The Vandals have lost 13 of their first 18 games and they enter this game on a low note after losing to Northern Colorado at home by 21 points in their last game. In that game, Idaho's offense was terrible as it only scored 53 points while shooting just 27.3% from the three-point line. To make matters worse, Idaho has lost each of its last four games so it will be looking to snap that losing streak at home on Tuesday. However, the Vandals have lost six of their first ten home games so they have struggled in front of their home fans.
Leading the Vandals offensively is senior guard Trevon Allenwho has looked very good this season as he is averaging a team-high 20.0 points per game along with 4.6 rebounds. However, he is also averaging 2.6 turnovers per game so he has struggled a bit with his ball security.
Idaho's most underrated player is senior forward Quinton Forrest who has looked pretty good this season as he is currently averaging 6.5 points per game along with a team-high 6.4 rebounds. In addition, he is averaging 1.2 steals per game so he has been very active on both sides of the floor up to this point.
