Matadors Trying To Snap Three-Game Losing StreakThe Tigers are off to a poor start this season, losing their first three games. They will be trying to snap their losing streak and pick up their first win of the season on Friday, but they will have their hands full with the 22nd ranked Tigers, who will be trying to stay undefeated.

CSU Northridge hasn’t played well on defense this season, which is why they are still winless. The team is giving up 92.7 points per game and will need to play significantly better to get past the Tigers on Friday.
Offensively, the Matadors are averaging 73 points per game, which is 196th in the country. They had their best offensive performance of the season in their last game, scoring 82 points against Pepperdine.
Terrell Gomez led all scorers with 33 points. He also had five rebounds and three assists for the Matadors. Darius Brown II finished with 12 points and two assists, while Lance Coleman II added eight points and four rebounds for the Matadors, who finished the game with only two players scoring in double figures.
Tigers Need To Step Up OffensivelyThe Tigers have won their first three games of the season, but they almost suffered a loss in their last game thanks to an offense that has not yet lived up to expectations.
After scoring 73 points and 76 points in their first two games, the Tigers were held to 70 points by South Alabama but escaped with a one-point win. They likely won’t be as fortunate if they find themselves in the same situation again and need to start playing better offensively if they want to contend for the SEC title.
Isaac Okoro led the way for the Tigers in their last game with 15 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Anfernee McLemore finished with 14 points and four rebounds, while Jamal Johnson added 14 points and one rebound in the win. They should be able to put up their best offensive performance of the season against the Matadors.
Auburn has played well on the defensive end, holding opponents to 69.7 points per game. They held their last two opponents under 70 points, but they still have plenty of room for improvement, especially if they continue to struggle offensively.
