This Sunday, there is an NCAAB matchup between the UCF Knights and the Illinois State Redbirds. This will be the only meeting between these teams this season and it will take place at Redbird Arena.
Illinois State Looks To Remain Undefeated
The Illinois State Redbirds have looked great so far this season. The Redbirds have won each of their first two games of the season by double digits including a five-point victory against Little Rock at home in their last game. In that game, Illinois State's offense was solid as it scored 75 points while shooting 41.7% from the three-point line. The Redbirds have been fortunate that their first two games have been at home up to this point and they are even more fortunate that this game is also at home as Illinois State will look to keep its undefeated record intact on Sunday against a non-conference foe.Leading the Redbirds offensively is senior guard Zach Copeland who has been great so far this season. He is averaging a team-high 19.5 points per game along with 4.5 assists. In addition, he has also been extremely efficient as he is shooting 56.0% from the floor and 41.7% from the three-point line. Copeland is the main cog in this offense and he has the ability to lead his team to another home victory in this game.

Illinois State's most underrated player is sophomore forward Rey Idowu who has been pretty good so far this season. Specifically, he is averaging 11.5 points per game along with 5.0 rebounds which is the most on the active roster. In addition, Idowu has also been extremely efficient from the floor as he is shooting 64.3% from the floor. Now, Idowu will look to continue playing well on Sunday.
