Rating:

In what should be a very low scoring game, the Oklahoma Sooners will use their superior defense that is allowing an average of only 55.8 points per game to defeat the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a matchup of Big 12 and Big Ten rivals. Oklahoma holds opponents to just 22.2% shooting from three-point land and Nebraska is shooting only 29.9% from behind the line and that number should drop against the Sooners defense. Nebraska has failed to cover the spread in three of its first four games to start the season and the Cornhuskers have struggled shooting with a field goal percentage of 44.2% which is 192nd in the nation. Look for a methodical half-court game that will be determined by the strength of each defense with Oklahoma having the advantage in this matchup.

Prediction: Oklahoma Sooners -4.5
