The San Fransisco Dons (6-0) take their undefeated record on the road to face the Davidson Wildcats (5-1) at 2 p.m. ET on Friday. The Wildcats are one-point favorites with the total set at 146 points.

Dons bring undefeated record to Belk Arena

San Fransisco improved to 6-0 on the season with a 67-63 win over Wichita State on Tuesday, covering as one-point underdogs and winning the 2022 Hall of Fame Classic. For the second-straight season, the Dons claimed victory in their Thanksgiving tournament. Junior forward Josh Kunen finished with a team-high 15 points and seven rebounds, season-highs in both categories, on 5-of-5 shooting from beyond the arc. Graduate guard Tyrell Roberts and junior guard Julian Rishwain added 13 points each.

Graduate guard Khalil Shabazz carries the Dons as their leading scorer and passer at 14.3 points and 4.1 assists per game, while junior forward Zane Meeks tops the team in rebounding at 7.5 boards per contest. San Fransisco is now led by first-year head coach Chris Gerlufsen and also controls the head-to-head matchup 1-0 with a 65-60 victory coming on Nov. 13, 2021.

Wildcats return home following Charleston Classic

Davidson enters this matchup 5-1 after back-to-back wins over South Carolina and Old Dominion in the 2022 Charleston Classic where it covered as the favorite in both. Redshirt senior guard Foster Loyer, a preseason all-conference selection, leads the Wildcats in scoring at 21.5 points per game (No. 23 nationally) and is shooting 44.7 percent from three-point range. Redshirt junior forward Sam Mennenga is adding 15.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest after being named to the Charleston Classic All-Tournament Team.

Last time out against Old Dominion, Mennenga and Loyer combined to score 45 points in the 66-61 win. Mennenga posted a career-high (23), and Loyer recorded his second double-double of the season (22p/10r). The Wildcats have defended home court in 58 of their last 66 games and 15 of their last 16 dating back to the 2021-22 campaign.

Insiders Status:

Give me Davidson (3-2 ATS). Both teams have won two of their ATS victories in the last three games, but the Dons have trends that are much more concerning. San Fransisco (2-3 ATS) is just 1-11 ATS in its last 12 games against Atlantic 10 opponents and 4-9 ATS in its last 13 when playing Friday games on the road. On the other side, Davidson has covered two-straight games as the favorite, beaten the spread in five of its last six Friday games and is also 7-2 ATS in its last nine November matchups. Take the Wildcats.

Prediction: Davidson -1

Full-Game Total Pick

Insiders Status:

The Dons are on a four-game under streak, and the Wildcats are on a run of three-straight unders themselves. No chance I’m going to fade it now. Among those seven games combined, 146 points is the third-highest total. The under is 6-1 in San Fransisco’s last seven games overall and 4-2 in its last six played on a Friday.

Prediction: Under 146
