UNC Greensboro Spartans vs. #3 Kansas Jayhawks

Where: Allen Fieldhouse, Lawrence, KS

When: Friday, November 8, 9:00 PM. ET.

The Kansas Jayhawks will be trying to bounce back from their loss to Duke when they take on the UNC Greensboro Spartans on Friday night.

Spartans Going For Second Consecutive Win

The Spartans opened their season with an impressive 83-50 win over North Carolina A&T. They will be trying to keep the momentum going and pick up their second consecutive win but will have their work cut out for them against the third-ranked team in the country, who are playing their first home game of the season.

UNC Greensboro looked good offensively in its first game. The team shot 42.9 percent from the field and 32.4 percent from three-point range.

Kaleb Hunter led the way for the Spartans with 17 points and seven rebounds. Isaiah Miller finished with 13 points, six rebounds and three assists, while Angelo Allegri added 11 points and five rebounds for the Spartans.

The Spartans also played well on defense, holding the Aggies to 50 points. They will be facing a more talented team in the Jayhawks and will need another great defensive effort to give themselves a chance to win this game.

Jayhawks Looking For First Win Of The Year

The Jayhawks had a disappointing start to their season, losing their first game to the Duke Blue Devils. They will be trying to bounce back from the loss with a win over the Spartans, which will give them their first win of the year and second consecutive win over the Spartans.

Kansas did a great job on the defensive end against a talented Duke team, holding the Blue Devils to 68 points. They should have an easier time on defense against the Spartans, but they will need to maintain their focus if they want to avoid the early-season upset.

The Jayhawks were held in check offensively by the Blue Devils but should be able to shine in this game. They shot 46 percent from the field and 44 percent from three-point range against the Blue Devils.

Devon Dotson led the way for the Jayhawks with 17 points. Ochai Agbaji finished with 15 points, six rebounds, and four steals, while Marcus Garrett added 12 points, five rebounds, and five assists. The team will need to play much better than they did against Duke to pick up the win.

Best Bets for this Game

Full-Game Side Bet

Insiders Status:

The Spartans looked impressive in their win over North Carolina A&T, but they will be playing a different class of opponent on Friday and will be on the other side of a lopsided game. The Jayhawks looked impressive defensively against Duke, holding the Blue Devils to 68 points, and will play better on the defensive end in their home-opener. The last time the two teams met, the Jayhawks walked away with a 105-66 win over the Spartans. The Spartans have improved since then, but the Jayhawks are still winning this game by at least 20 points, making them the best bet here.

Prediction: Kansas Jayhawks

Full-Game Total Pick

Insiders Status:

The Jayhawks and Spartans both played well on the defensive end in their season-openers, holding their opponents to 66 points and 50 points respectively. Even though the Jayhawks should be able to score at least 80 points against the Spartans, the Spartans won’t score more than 60 points against the Jayhawks, which will keep the score under the total in this game.

Prediction: Under

Half-Time Side Pick

Insiders Status:

Even though the Spartans scored 42 first-half points in their first game and the Jayhawks scored 30 points in their game. The Jayhawks will cover the spread in the first half of this game because their defense, which held Duke to 33 first-half points, will hold the Spartans to fewer points at the half, while their offense will be able to put up more than 30 points, which will give them the first half win.

Prediction: Kansas Jayhawks

Half-Time Total Bet

Insiders Status:

The Jayhawks and Spartans scored 72 combined first-half points in their first game of the season, but they will play under the total in the first half because the Jayhawks will keep the Spartans below 30 points in the first half of this game, while the Spartans keep the Jayhawks under 40 points in the first half, making the under the best bet.

Prediction: Under
