This Saturday, there is an NCAAB matchup between the Eastern Kentucky Colonels and the Louisville Cardinals. This will take place at the KFC Yum! Center.

Eastern Kentucky's most underrated player is junior forward Darius Hicks who has looked good so far this season. He is averaging 8.0 points per game along with a team-high 7.9 rebounds. However, he is shooting just 36.8% from the floor so he will need to shoot more efficiently moving forward.

Rating:

Eastern Michigan has been awful this season and Louisville has been one of the best teams in the country so I am a bit skeptical about just how Colonels will play in such a hostile environment. Louisville is currently the number one team in the AP Poll and it has looked like an elite unit at home this season. Plus, Louisville has an advantage in practically every area on both sides of the ball so I think that it should be able to win this game by a wide margin. Give me the home team.

Prediction: Louisville

Full-Game Total Pick

Rating:

Eastern Kentucky plays at the third-fastest offensive tempo in the nation according to Kenpom to I think that this game will be pretty high-scoring. Louisville could easily score at least 90 points in this game while Eastern Kentucky should be able to score a decent amount of points due to the pace alone. Plus, Eastern Kentucky should be able to score some points in garbage time once Louisville decides to pull all of its starters at some point in the second half. Give me the over.

Prediction: Over

Half-Time Side Pick

Insiders Status:

Rating:

Louisville is the significantly deeper and more talented team in this matchup and I expect it to get out to a dominating performance in the first half at home after losing its last game against Texas Tech. Louisville has the talent to score at least 50 points in the first half while also preventing Eastern Kentucky from scoring more than 25 points in the first 20 minutes so I think that this spread is a bit too low. Give me the home team.
